BIG BTC LEGO FUN ‘S KOCKE NA KOCKO’

The one-month period from 12 November to 12 December 2004 in BTC City’s Hall A will be marked by big Lego fun named ‘S kocke na kocko’ (cube on cube) and an exhibition of Lego cubes named ‘Sprehod po čarobnem gradu’ (a walk in a magic city). Preparations for the exhibition took more than a year and were led by Danish Lego-cube enthusiasts and experienced Lego constructors. Creative workshops, playrooms and story-telling are just part of the Lego fun. Toy collections will be organised for humanitarian purposes. The free exhibition can be seen every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Hall A has opened up its doors to a Lego-cube exhibition named Sprehod po čarobnem gradu’ which was prepared in the renowned LEGOLAND park in the city of Billund in Denmark. Preparations for the exhibition took over a year. Besides the exhibition, creative Lego-cube workshops will be held where visitors, namely children, will be introduced to various ways of constructing models and be guided by experienced mentors in their efforts to make a tall Lego building. All of this is meant to introduce the fun world of Lego cubes to children.

The one-month programme will be very lively: our youngsters will have fun with Master Miha and his friends playing various games in a big pool, a workshop on making bracelets, necklaces and other gifts from the CLIKITS programme will be organised, a big Lego-train model will be on show, children will be able to drive toy cars and play basketball or hockey. Each playroom will have a stage with story-telling and will show some cartoons.

Besides playing with toys and having fun, parents and their children can donate some toys for humanitarian purposes as part of the toy-collecting initiative organised by BTC and Zveza prijateljev mladine named ‘Srečno tisti sreči, ki čaka, da te osreči’. Children are welcome to bring the toys they no longer play with and give them to children who do not have them but still want to play.
