The classic comedy by Willy Russell ‘Educating Rita’ premiered yesterday at Teater Komedija BTC, the theatre which has been amusing Slovenian audiences for five years already. The play can be seen from December onwards at the Mercurius BTC congress hall. Welcome to the home of comedy and great fun!
December will be marked by Teater Komedija BTC staging a classic comedy by the master of dramatic plots, Willy Russell, namely ‘Educating Rita’. It is directed by Vinko Möderndorfer and has a distinguished cast, Janez Hočevar–Rifle playing the role of the university teacher Frank and Mojca Funkl playing Rita. Frank is a university teacher of literature while Rita is his eccentric and demanding student who shows great enthusiasm about contemporary literature. This lively piece is packed full of laughter will suit even the most sophisticated theatre tastes.
