On Saturday, 21 May, and Sunday, 22 May, BTC City Ljubljana will host the 15th Festival of Shopping and Fun, which will on Saturday include a performance by the Croatian singer Danijela, as the main star of the Festival. Along with all the shopping discounts, visitors will be able to take advantage of a rich accompanying programme, including sport-entertainment activities, prize-winning games as well rich tourism offers and animations for the young ones. Activities will take place on the square between Hall A and BTC Market, on the square Trg mladih, on the lower floor of Emporium hall and in front of Atlantis Water City.

The opening of the 15th Festival of Shopping and Fun will be held on Saturday, 21 May at 10:30am, on the main square between Hall A and BTC Market. The Festival opening will be hosted by a popular radio speaker, Sašo Papp, with the programme being spread across both days. There will be a children’s Eurovision show Zvezdice (Little Stars), two fashion shows and many performances by talented Slovenians.

On Saturday, 21 May at 7pm, there will be a performance by April, this year’s finalist for the Slovene selection for Eurovision song contest, followed by a big concert by Danijela at 8pm.

On the square Trg mladih sports fans will be able to play a football match or get attractive prizes with juggling, table football or by being the best in slaloming with a ball. For all those who relish the joy of travelling, there will also be a tourism market, offering many trips and holidays.

Children’s programme will take place in the new sports-recreational and educational centre Beti in Cej on the lower floor of the Emporium hall. The youngest visitors will be able to soak up the fun on both days, enjoying the entertainment activities by Beti and Cej. There will also be a special dance party organized by Ribič Pepe on Saturday at 2pm and on Sunday at 10am.

BTC City Ljubljana is annually visited by around 20 million visitors from Slovenia and abroad. After two decades it has become the largest business, shopping, recreational, entertainment and cultural centre in Slovenia, which can easily be compared with other comparable centre across Europe.
