It provided support for another generation of unemployed young people, preparing them for new job opportunities and helping them acquire new business competencies. Thirty participants completed an intensive lecture programme focused on successful career development, as well as finding support for developing one\u2019s own product or service<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The BTC company is the instigator and sponsor of the BTC Campus training programme, whose aim it is to provide unemployed young people who are registered as job seekers with the Employment Service of Slovenia with the know-how and guidance needed for an easier recognition of employment opportunities or starting their own business. The programme is organised by the BTC company in collaboration with the Employment Service of Slovenia and the Center of Business Excellence of the Ljubljana Faculty of Economics. This year, the programme was attended by 30 young people with different educational backgrounds. They were selected according to criteria relating to the interest shown to pursue additional education, networking and seeking job opportunities. Classes were once again prepared and conducted by lecturers from the Centre of Business Excellence of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana: Rok Stritar, PhD, Bla\u017e Zupan, PhD, and Marjan Kramar.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the programme partly took place in the scope of the Slovenian Digital Center. The participants had the chance to get to know the latest technologies presented in the Slovenian Digital Center by progressive Slovenian companies and establish direct contact with developmentally oriented companies. In November and December, they had the opportunity to attend a number of free trainings and workshops on digitalisation, Industry 4.0 and robotics. As in previous years, the programme also partly took place in BTC City Ljubljana\u2019s ABC Hub.<\/p>\n<p>At the closing event, the participants presented the products and services they developed during the course of the programme, as well as their suggestions and ideas to upgrade the offerings of the BTC company.
