At the annual general meeting of BTC, d. d., shareholders, the company\u2019s audited annual report for 2025 and its new Strategy for the period 2026\u20132030 were presented. The shareholders were informed of the company\u2019s successful performance in 2025, adopted a resolution on the appropriation of retained earnings and approved the payment of a gross dividend of EUR 17.50 per share. For BTC, the new Strategy up to 2030 marks a transition from stabilisation to measured, selective growth, based on the quality of development, higher added value and the resilience of the business model. At the meeting, attended by shareholders representing 95.4% of the company\u2019s capital, the Board of Directors was granted discharge for its positive work in 2025. The proposed resolutions were adopted unanimously.<\/strong><\/p>\n

BTC\u2019s business performance in 2025 was characterised by continued stable growth and the implementation of strategic projects designed to strengthen the company\u2019s long-term competitiveness. The development of BTC City urban centres, logistics operations, integrated property management, energy and innovative and sustainable operations enables the company\u2019s stable business operations, whilst also creating scope for the development of new content, services and business models that are essential for long-term success in a time of dynamic changes.<\/p>\n

Growth in Key Indicators in 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

BTC\u2019s business performance in 2025 was successful, as the company generated EUR 101.6 million in net sales revenue <\/strong>in 2025, representing a 1.4% increase on the previous year. EBITDA amounted to EUR 25 million, <\/strong>representing a 10.5% increase compared with 2024. Net profit exceeded the target, amounting to EUR 7.4 million, and was 13.5% higher than the previous year, excluding extraordinary financial income in 2024<\/strong>, when net profit was exceptionally high due to the sale of a stake in the technology company Eligma. The total value of investments, directed towards projects that strengthen the company\u2019s long-term growth, in 2025 amounted to EUR 8.7 million. The results achieved reflect a balanced business structure, effective cost management and the stability of key operations. BTC maintained a high level of liquidity and financial discipline in 2025 as well; attesting to its financial stability is also the received AAA Platinum Creditworthiness Certificate.<\/p>\n

The company will pay its shareholders a regular dividend of EUR 17.50 gross per share<\/strong>. A total of EUR 3,893,470 of the retained earnings from 2025 has been allocated to dividends, whilst the remaining EUR 13,529,728 remains unallocated and a decision on its use will be made at a later date.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe year 2025 was significant for BTC, as it consolidated the stability of its operations and reaffirmed that the company\u2019s diversified business model enables it to remain resilient, adaptable and competitive in the long term, even in a challenging and rapidly changing environment. With the preparation of the company\u2019s new strategy for the period 2026\u20132030, we have clearly defined the direction of the company\u2019s future development. We are entering this new strategic period with the ambition to remain a reliable, innovative and responsible manager of complex urban and business systems. The company\u2019s development is based on higher added value, improved user experience, technological advancement, focus on sustainability and prudent asset management. On this basis, we will continue to develop the cities of the future and logistics excellence, whilst creating long-term value for shareholders, partners, visitors, employees and the wider community,\u201d<\/em> emphasised Damjan Kralj, M.Sc., Chief Executive Officer at BTC.<\/p>\n

Advancement of Key Activities and Sustainable Efforts in 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2025, BTC continued the systematic transformation of its key activities. In its BTC Cities, <\/strong>the company focused on improving the user experience, upgrading infrastructure, increasing energy efficiency, greening the sites and strengthening the diversity of business, retail, leisure, sporting and cultural offerings. In the field of logistics<\/strong>, it continued to utilise the full capacity of the Logistics Centre Zalog, develop additional cold storage capacities, provide digital support for processes and implement gradual automation. The BTC PROP Business Unit maintained stable and development-oriented operations and consolidated its role as a reliable partner in the field of integrated property management.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last year, BTC continued its activities in the fields of sustainability, energy and innovation. Through further investment in urban greening, energy efficiency and its own renewable energy sources, it continued the systematic decarbonisation of its property portfolio and logistics operations. Last year, too, BTC remained a reliable and responsible partner to a wider society. It continued to support numerous associations, organisations, individuals and internationally recognised events, thereby further consolidating its role as a key player in the economic, sporting, cultural and social spheres.<\/p>\n

Plans for 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

BTC\u2019s business plan for this year forecasts net sales revenue of EUR 103.4 million, EBITDA of EUR 24.9 million, net profit of EUR 7.5 million and investments totalling EUR 10 million.<\/p>\n

2026\u20132030 Strategy: The Development of Cities of the Future and Logistics Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main principle of BTC\u2019s strategy for the 2026\u20132030<\/strong> period <\/strong>is the long-term resilience of its business model, which is based on the diversification of activities, focus on sustainability, digital transformation and the development of new sources of growth. The company will continue to develop a balanced portfolio of activities, which includes the BTC City urban centres, logistics operations, comprehensive property management and new development projects in the fields of residential, healthcare and wellness, as well as leisure facilities. BTC\u2019s vision is to set the pace for the development of cities of the future and logistics excellence<\/strong>, while its mission remains to co-create a unique business and social ecosystem <\/strong>that drives the development of a modern urban environment and advanced logistics in harmony with partners, nature and the future.<\/p>\n

Among the key development priorities of the new strategy, the following stand out: further transformation of BTC Cities into modern, multi-purpose urban centres based on the \u201c15-minute city\u201d concept, development of an advanced residential and commercial neighbourhood, further automation and digitalisation of logistics processes, enhancement of energy efficiency and the resilience of logistics chains, upgrading of integrated property management services and accelerated introduction of sustainable and energy-efficient solutions. Sustainability, digital transformation and innovation remain long-term sources of BTC\u2019s competitiveness and resilience in the future. The strategy also continues to place significant emphasis on the use of advanced technologies, data-driven decision-making, energy self-sufficiency, urban greening and the development of a collaborative innovation ecosystem.<\/p>\n
