By signing an annual sponsorship agreement, BTC and the Gymnastics Federation of Slovenia have reaffirmed their long-standing partnership, through which BTC will remain one of the most important supporters of Slovenian gymnastics in 2026 as well. This year\u2019s collaboration marks the 26th<\/sup> consecutive year of support.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2026, BTC will continue to serve as the general sponsor of the Gymnastics Federation of Slovenia, the national teams in artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, and mass participation programmes that promote gymnastics among all generations. Another important aspect of this partnership is the general sponsorship of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, which will take place in Koper from 28 May to 31 May 2026, and is one of the most prominent international gymnastics events.<\/p>\n

In addition to its umbrella partnership with the Federation, BTC is continuing to provide direct support to athletes and the club this year as well. Through personal sponsorship agreements and collaboration with the rhythmic gymnastics club Klub za ritmi\u010dno gimnastiko TIM, BTC supports gymnasts who, through their hard work, discipline and dedication, contribute to the success of Slovenian gymnastics both at home and abroad. This season, BTC\u2019s sponsored athletes include Tja\u0161a Kysselef, Teja Belak, Lucija Hribar, Gregor Rakovi\u010d, An\u017ee Hribar, Beno Kunst, Alja Ponikvar, Zala Trtnik, Luka Bojanc, Kevin Buckley and Nikolaj Bo\u017ei\u010d. This support provides athletes with more stable conditions for training, development and competitions at the highest level.<\/p>\n

Upon signing the sponsorship agreements, Damjan Kralj, M. Sc., CEO at BTC, emphasized: \u201cIn 2026, we will continue to be a reliable partner of the Gymnastics Federation of Slovenia and a supporter of athletes who, through their hard work, dedication and responsibility, set high standards for Slovenian sports. Our support is focused on long-term development, creating stable conditions and fostering an environment in which talented athletes can systematically grow, develop and mature into world-class athletes. We believe that continuity, professional expertise and a clear vision are the foundation of lasting success. That is why we view our partnership with the Gymnastics Federation of Slovenia as a strategic investment in the future of sports, young people and society at large.\u201d<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Miha Mermal, President of the Gymnastics Federation of Slovenia, pointed out: \u201cWe are entering the new season with a clear strategy for the development of Slovenian gymnastics, based on systematic work, professional excellence and long-term planning. Our goal is to create a stable and supportive environment for athletes of all generations, from the youngest to elite national team members. We are placing special emphasis on further strengthening our youth programme, developing our coaching staff, and ensuring high-quality preparation for major international competitions, among which the World Cup in Koper stands out. In the new season, we aim to provide our athletes with the best possible conditions for training, development and competitions, and to enable them to fully dedicate themselves to their goals and athletic growth. Their dedication and perseverance are the cornerstones of continued success for Slovenian gymnastics, so we wish them great focus and courage this season as they work to achieve their ambitions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sport plays an important role in bringing communities together, instilling values and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. As a basic sports discipline, gymnastics \u2013 with its demanding nature \u2013 makes a significant contribution to fostering discipline, responsibility and self-confidence in young people and elite athletes. By supporting such programmes and partnerships, BTC contributes to the development of sports as an important part of society.<\/p>\n
