Slovenia and the European Union: in meeting the business plan for 2004 BTC City will become the biggest business, shopping, sports, entertainment and cultural centre in Europe <\/strong><\/P>Dear Sir\/Madam, <\/P>
Slovenia’s entry to the European Union next year will be marked by a change in the terms of trade for many Slovenian companies. Foreign competitors will enter the Slovenian economy and the struggle for market shares will become even stronger. <\/P>
BTC City is prepared for competitors from European Union countries. In its 50-year history BTC has redirected its primary warehousing activity into a modern, market-driven public limited company. This period of intensive growth and development will continue in the future. In order to fulfil its business plan BTC and its business partners (Spar, the KD Group and others) will invest more than EUR 50 million. New spaces offering various activities and programmes will meet consumers’ needs for business, shopping, sports, entertainment and culture. <\/P>
The business plan for 2004, offering 77,000 m2 of new and 28,000 m2 of old, renovated business space, the company’s strategy and European trends in shopping, sports and entertainment centres will be presented <\/P>
at the special press conference

<\/strong>BTC City, \u0160martinska street 152, Ljubljana.<\/P>Realisation of the business plan will be presented by the company’s leading figures and the director of Water City.<\/strong><\/P>The conference will last for an hour or so and afterwards you will have the opportunity to talk individually with Management Board members. <\/P>
