The BTC company was awarded the title Superbrands 2009 for the BTC CITY trademark by the Superbrand international organization. <\/strong><\/P> Superbrands is the only global and independent authority in the field of branding. It is present in over 84 countries across 5 continents, and from 2007 onwards, also in Slovenia. This year, the trademarks in Slovenia were judged by a panel of experts, composed of 53 renowned business and marketing experts from Slovenian media, agencies, Slovenian and foreign corporations, universities and expert organizations; in this year, the votes of the panel were for the first time also supplemented by over 3,700 customer votes. The trademarks were judged considering four basic criteria: quality, dependability, emotional charge and distinctness. <\/P> Superbrands follows the success of individual trademarks on all important global markets and recognizes those that are, in their functional and emotional dimension, more successful than their competition. They are awarded the independent and highly respected Superbrands status. <\/P> The BTC company was awarded the title Superbrands for the second time in a row; in the previous year for the BTC trademark and in this year for BTC City. <\/P> BTC CITY is the largest business, shopping, recreational, entertainment and cultural centre in Slovenia, also counting among largest such centres in Europe. BTC CITY annually receives 20 million visitors from Slovenia and abroad. <\/P>
