On Saturday, 4th September, BTC City Ljubljana will host the event “Prometna varnost, kot je \u0161e niste poznali” (Traffic safety as you have never seen it before). The main aim of this one day event, which will take place in the parking place in front of the Water Park Atlantis, is to raise awareness of all participants in traffic at the start of the new school year. With this event the organizers are trying to contribute to the rise of traffic culture among the people, and to the reduction of risk of accidents and injuries on the road, and are also trying to encourage the use of public transport and with that a more responsible attitude towards the environment. <\/P>
As part of the event, which will take place between 10am and 5pm, visitors will be able to acquaint themselves with some peculiarities of traffic, as well as good and bad traffic praxis and test their knowledge on traffic safety. During the day there will be lots of various activities, including a theoretical and practical practising on Trial motors, a presentation of elements of safe driving, a simulation of driving under the influence of alcohol, and there will also be a bicycle range, etc. <\/P>
BTC City didn’t forget about the children and teenagers, who will be able to get to know the meaning of safety in traffic in an entertaining manner. We will organize games on the traffic carpet as well as some recreational games, “snail” bicycle rides and rides with pedals on the range and there will also be a presentation of impact loads with special scales. <\/P>
AMZS and the police will also participate with their helpful advice for all the participants in traffic. <\/P>
