Three spring Festivals of Shopping and Fun, which are fast approaching, will transform BTC City Ljubljana, BTC City Novo mesto and BTC City Murska Sobota into the biggest cities of discounts. Shops will invite visitors and shoppers with numerous discounts, special offers and sales. The entire shopping excitement will, as always, be accompanied by rich kids, sports, cultural and entertainment programmes on various event locations. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ljubljana hosting the 21st consecutive Festival of Shopping and Fun <\/h2>\n

Ljubljana will host the Festival of Shopping and Fun on Saturday, 17 May, and on Sunday, 18 May. Every year, this traditional event, which is celebrating its 21st anniversary, attracts 170,000 visitors of all generations. The same as every year, this year’s Festival will also include varied social, sports and musical programmes. You should not miss the appearance of the world renowned Dutch chef, Rudolph Van Veen, who will be cooking for you on Saturday, or the theatre performance, the performances of dance groups and the fashion show all taking place on the main stage on Saturday as well. Kids will be able to enjoy an all-day long event taking place in a magical town, while all sports enthusiasts will have the pleasure of watching beach volleyball, footvolley and body zorbing. The main event of the first Festival day will be the closing performance by the band Kingston, topping it all off with big fireworks. The Sunday’s programme will offer the raffle for the main prize, Hyundai i10, which will be given to the lucky winner permanently. Both days will offer visitors numerous surprises and even a well known flash mob performance. <\/p>\n

Besides the main event setting between Hall A and BTC City market, the activities will also take place on the Trg mladih market, in Hall A, in front of Atlantis Water Park and on the lower floor of the Emporium Hall.<\/p>\n

The renovated BTC City Novo mesto hosting the Festival <\/h2>\n

After two years, the Festival of Shopping and Fun will once again take place in Novo mesto, in the newly renovated BTC City Novo mesto, in front of Hall A. The Festival in Novo mesto will greet visitors on Friday, 16 May, and Saturday, 17 May 2014. Next to several discount prices the visitors will surely find something to their liking, with performances by Tanja \u017dagar, the Oberkrainer bands Nemir and Mirnopeški muzikantje, as well as dancers from the dance centre Plesni center Dolenjske. On both days there will also be a rich kids’ entertainment programme.<\/p>\n

BTC City Murska Sobota offering an inviting kids’ programme<\/h2>\n

This year’s Festival of Shopping and Fun in BTC City Murska Sobota will, according to tradition, be held on a Saturday, 24 May 2014. The main event setting will be in BTC City Hall, starting at 10 a.m. with workshops for kids and food tastings. A fashion show, accompanied by the performance of the Oberkrainer band Veseli svatje, will be held at 10.30 a.m. and at the same time also the big prize-winning raffle. The kids’ programme will continue at 5 p.m. with a play Dino in cirkuške vragolije. On this day kids will be able to enjoy the Beti in Cej playroom for free!<\/p>\n
