{"id":8464,"date":"2014-06-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-06-22T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.btc.si\/2014\/06\/primary-school-os-medvode-gets-the-title-of-a-bee-friendly-school\/"},"modified":"2014-06-23T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2014-06-22T22:00:00","slug":"primary-school-os-medvode-gets-the-title-of-a-bee-friendly-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.btc.si\/en\/press-releases\/2014\/06\/primary-school-os-medvode-gets-the-title-of-a-bee-friendly-school\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary school O\u0160 Medvode gets the title of a Bee-friendly school"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P><strong>Based on the response of primary schools, mentors and especially children, the future of the Kranjska \u010cebelica competition in the cities is bright. <\/strong><\/P><P>The project organisers, Slovenian Beekeepers&#8217; Association and BTC City Ljubljana, are thrilled about the activities and efforts schools have shown in the Bee-friendly school competition. After a close examination of all the presentations the following schools made the short list of candidates for the title: primary schools O\u0160 Martina Krpana, O\u0160 Bi\u010devje, O\u0160 Medvode and O\u0160 Ivana Cankarja. These school were visited by our committee in the penultimate week of June. During our visit we checked and evaluated the originality, creativity, entirety, geographical location, the existing activities at school, the initiative of mentors and pupils as well as the spatial conditions for setting up a bee house.<\/P><P><IMG alt=\"\" src=\"..\/images\/shop\/vsebine\/15114.jpg\"><\/P><P>The primary school O\u0160 Medvode met all the mentioned criteria best and was thus awarded the title of a Bee-friendly school.&nbsp;<\/P><P><IMG alt=\"\" src=\"..\/images\/shop\/vsebine\/15115.jpg\"><\/P><P>We would like to thank all the participating schools, mentors and children and encourage them all to continue with their activities also in the future. <\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[42],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-8464","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-press-releases"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
