On Tuesday, 23 June 2009, Atlantis Water Park was visited by Sara Isaković, one of Slovenia’s most highly acclaimed Olympic swimmers. A celebration during her visit to the Water Park marked the award of support from the BTC company for the ambitious swimmer’s future training and competitions. This makes BTC one of the main sponsors of the project of training and competitions in the ever more successful career of the lovely Miss Isaković.

The press conference, which took place in the Atlantis Water Park, saw the solemn signing of the contract for co-financing the training and competitions of Sara Isaković. The contract was signed by Miha Rakar, Director of the Atlantis Water Park, and Jože Rebec, President of the Swimming Club Žito Gorenjka Radovljica.

At the press conference, the young swimmer spoke about her life in America and her plans and goals for this summer. Still full of impressions of her American life, she answered the reporters’ questions about her studies in California and new swimming achievements. Her swimming team at the University of California, Berkley set a new landmark this year. As the university’s first ever representatives in the sport of swimming, they won the nation-wide university championship. Because of this extraordinary achievement, the team was invited to a reception held by President Barack Obama. Despite her obvious excitement about life in America, Sara still likes to return home.

As part of her visit to the Atlantis Water Park, she took time after the conference to join other visitors for some swimming in the Atlantis swimming pools. Our charming swimmer will also continue with her training now that she is home, since she is in the midst of intensive preparation for the World Championship in Rome.

With an everlasting smile, Sara signed autographs and mingled with the visitors of the Atlantis Water Park, and was presented with a picture by the children from the Slovenian Association of Friends of Youth. With her cheerful mood, our Olympic star once again created a fun atmosphere. She was extremely excited about the newly received support which will give her even more energy to cope with coming challenges.
