This Friday and Saturday, 17^th and 18^th June, BTC City Ljubljana will see the return of the Festival of Shopping and Fun! The BTC company prepared an excellent programme, full of music, dance, adrenaline and other fun activities for people of all generations to enjoy, with special attention being given to young people and families. The programme will offer performances by Dunking Devils, Koala Voice, Kokosy, Trkaj, and will feature hot Brazilian Samba Show, the first pop-up store by Petra Parovel and more. The festival, full of fun and attractive discounts, presents an excellent start to the summer.

After a two-year-long pause, the start of this year’s summer will be marked by a popular event – the Festival of Shopping and Fun, which will take place on 17^th and 18^th June in BTC City Ljubljana. Besides vendors’ attractive discounts, the two-day event will include an excellent programme which will bring fun for the youngest as well as people of other generations. The entire event is completely free-of-charge for all the visitors.

The exciting act “Dunking Devils Falling from the Sky” will be performed by the world renowned acrobatic group for the first time in Ljubljana! The breathtaking jumps from a height of 20 metres will take place on Saturday, 18^th June, at 5 p.m.

The festival will start already on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. with afterwork mingling in the BTC City Food Court with the concert by a popular young group Kokosy. On Saturday from 10 a.m., the central event area in front of Shopping Arena A will see performances by excellent artists throughout the day. The first act will be Jole Cole with his unforgettable magic tricks for the kids. This will be followed by the Funky Swy training with Petra Parovel, who for the first time in Ljubljana will also present her pop-up store in Shopping Arena A, and by Trkaj‘s concert, where he will present hits from his album/book Repki. With their energetic and fun dance training for all, the Zumba instructors from the group Zumbalicious Crew will make sure everyone takes a break from shopping and does something good for their body. Later, the dance rhythms will continue with performances by the dancers, acrobats and percussionists of the international dance-acrobatic-music ensemble Samba Brazil Slovenija & Banda Berimbau, enchanting us all with the unforgettable experience of a real Brazilian carnival. With two performances of extraordinary acrobatic tricks, walking on the wall and unbelievable jumps from 20 metres high, the acrobats from the Dunking Devils group will spike up everyone’s adrenaline. House of Dance (Hiša plesa) and dance

school Libero will bring even more dancing to BTC City, complemented with the performance by the group ONI the Show which entertains fans with modern dances and circus elements. The festival will conclude in the evening with a concert by Koala Voice, starting at 7 p.m.

Organisers have focused especially on young families. On Saturday, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., the youngest will have fun jumping on the Dunking Devils kids’ trampoline and in the Atlantis area, where special water activities and prizes will be waiting for them. The Minicity team will paint kids’ faces and provide creative workshops and set up an area where kids will be able to become whoever they want, while additional activities will be provided in the Baby Center area. During the festival, visitors will enjoy in special festival food and drinks, including popcorn, candyfloss and soft ice cream.

Attractive discounts of BTC City vendors will add that special attractiveness to the Festival of Shopping and Fun and will be available to the visitors on Friday and Saturday, 17^th and 18^th June. The list of discounts, prepared by more than 130 vendors, will be published on the BTC City website, and the visitors will also be able to take a printed version of the list at the festival. All the discounts will be revealed on Friday, 17^th June.
